''LAUGH, PLAY, REPEAT: FUN FAMILY MOMENTS FROM MY CHILDHOOD😂💝

So today I am going to share a ''funny story ''about my family.🤗

''One day, while everyone was sitting together, Papa started sharing this story with us.'' When I heard it felt like I should share it with you too.

It was around the end of November 2002 when we went to our native place. Basically our hometown is in Uttarakhand. So my village is a little ahead of Kanalichina . At that time I was just a little girl  , and my brother was three years older than me . We reached our home around 10:30 am . As soon as we arrive we met everyone and greeted them happily. ''After that, everyone sat together. We  chatted and caught  up on old times.''🤗

Then papa called a few relatives on the phone to inform that we had safely reached home. Time passed so quickly that it was already 2 PM, and we didn't even realize it. Soon after my Grandma and Mother started preparing lunch. ''Papa and Grandpa were having a lot of fun in the hall while my brother and I were playing.''😂

My Papa and Grandpa were discussing about the nearby people and updating each other on who was doing what.  There was warm, homely atmosphere filled with laughter and conversations. After having lunch, we all went to the fields. There were chilies 🌶️and many other things growing there . In my grandfather's favorite flower garden, many colorful flowers were blooming .... it felt wonderful🌻🌼 . The cool breeze and gentle sunlight were completely relaxing . While my Father went little ahead into the fields, my Grandma  was showing my mother around everywhere.

I had cousin who lived there . He had just returned after grazing the goats. He lifted  me from my mother's lap and went out for a walk with me. My brother was with my Grandpa . Later we all went for a walk around the forest behind the house and got  home by 5:30 pm.  My Grandmother made tea for everyone. While having tea, we talked about a lot of things. Then we lit a fire because it would  get very cold at night. It felt nice and cozy, but sometimes the darkness around made it a bit scary too .😉

After dinner , Grandpa started telling lots of ghost stories, and you will find this in almost every pahadi's home. ''Everyone talks about deep, serious things at night ,and they share stories of their own time.''

So my Grandpa used to sleep  on the bed in the hall, and there was another bed in the next room where my Mom, my brother and I slept. Dad and Grandma slept on the floor.

There was a cat there .... she was very beautiful. She had blue eyes and used to love me a lot. At night, the cat came near me , wrapped herself around my neck and started rubbing her face against me lovingly.😻

Her nose was very cold, so Mother's hand touched it and felt something cold on my face. Mummy thought it was a snake , she picked her up and dropped her down 😂 and guess what, guys? Papa and Grandma were sleeping on the floor, so the cat fell right on the dad's face! Dad woke up in shock, and Grandma shouted, ''where did this cat fall from?! and the cat angrily scratched my Dad's neck , while my Mother she was pretending to sleep deeply on the bed . 😂

A little later , the cat was meowing loudly with its tail straight up, and soon the goat, cow, buffaloes joined in making noise too. Grandma said , ''they never do this type of noises !' Grandpa said ''is an earthquake about to happen?'' As soon as Grandpa said that, suddenly there was the sound of glasses falling in the kitchen , slowly the whole house started shaking. 😶

Now listen guys .... out of all of us , mummy was the first person to run out of the house ! Dad helped  Grandpa and Grandma get outside safely  and😎 Grandma went to  make sure the cow, goat and buffalo were safe too, while Grandpa was standing with Mother .

When everyone was standing safely , Papa looked at Mom and said, 'hey, were is Niki and Ashu, where are you? you didn't bring them along? 💔

'' Dad, who had run in at the top speed to get us out , couldn't stop laughing when he saw the scene in room .... me and Ashu were sleeping and the cat was just seating on top of us like it was totally normal!'' First Dad placed the cat on his shoulder, then grabbed me in one arm and Ashu in the other, and carried us all outside like a pro superhero rescue''😎

Once outside , he handed me over to Mom and kept Ashu with him. Grandpa and Grandma were laughing so hard, joking that Mom got scared first!'' and ''Papa was laughing even more at Mom!''😂

''We stayed outside for at least 45 mins , and then guess what..... we lit a fire and just sat around.''💞

Its even more fun when you hear stories from my Dad, he is super hilarious! 😂

I have even more funny stories like this, and  slowly I will share them with you .
