''The Lover Who Never Meets''💖
Love— What a beautiful topic it is!
Just imagine how much history is hidden behind this one word. Love is a feeling, not something to be explained in terms of materialism, but in terms of emotions and inner depth.
Love is such a pure emotion that not everyone can truly understand it. To understand love, a person first needs to become emotionally independent— because only then one can love without losing oneself.
If for a moment you forget everything and just feel love, you will realize how magical it is. That's why, before I begin, I request you to open your heart and allow yourself to feel.
Some people believe that love is just a spark that fades with time. But today, I want you to see love through the eyes of devotee.
What is love for a devotee? 🌻
It is the feeling of a soul that has completely surrendered its heart at the feet of the divine. For such a people, love is not just a spark— it is an everlasting light that never dims. When a devotee offers their heart to God and says,'' O Lord I am yours— accept me as your own,'' that surrender itself becomes love, and for them love is not a desire—it is a spiritual practice ,a sadhana.
If we try to define love in human terms, we will fail because love itself is divine. It's not something we create; it's something the Universe is built upon. Even Gods has woven love into the very fabric of creation—the entire cosmos breathes because of it.
Love, in its truest form, is a sacred emotion. For a devotee, love becomes the highest path—the bridge that leads one to the Divine. The purest example of this is goddess Mata Parvati, who undertook intense penance to Unite with Lord Shiva. She transformed love into worship, and devotion into strength. Her love was not born from desire, but from surrender.
You can also see this in Maa Meerabai, whose love for Govind broke every boundary of the world. To others, her devotion seemed like madness, but in the end, she united with her beloved Lord Govind and attained liberation.
A true devotee is madly in love with the divine— they think of nothing else. Even without seeing their God, they feel the Divine's presence in every breath, in every moment of silence. Even if they cannot see or hear God, their heart is constantly speaking the language of love.
Such love can awake only for the divine—because it is a feeling God has placed within us, so that we may be able to feel him, experience his presence, and finally merge into him.
A devotee surrenders their entire life and soul in love— there remains no desire except the wish to lose oneself completely at the feet of the divine. To such a soul, love is not attachment— it is absorption, a merging of the self into something eternal. It is surrender— the state of resting forever in the lap of the divine.
Take a moment to feel it......
Now, when I try to explain what love means to me, I realize that people often misunderstand it. Love is not against logic or reason, but beyond them. True love requires sacrifice, honesty and above all, emotional independence. We measure love through possessions, expectations and control. We have forgotten the simplicity of the heart. That's why to me love feels sacred—something pure like Mata Parvati's penance, something that exists only when the ego dissolves.
You know why I connected love with devotion? Because when a seeker joins the path of devotion, he doesn't connect through thoughts or intellect, but through surrender.
Slowly, as he let go of worldly reasoning, his soul learns the rhythm of silence. He no longer prays for miracles or wishes—he simply sits before the divine and says ''I don't need anything— just let me sit here at your feet.''
This is not weakness,
That is pure devotion—the moment when love becomes prayer and prayer becomes peace.
Our Lord, who watches us from above— he knows everything that happens within our hearts. When he sees us struggling. He quietly holds our hand, and slowly he begins to guide us. Because he knows , even in our confusion, our souls belongs to him.
As a seeker, there comes a moment when the heart begins to feel something deeper—a stillness, a quiet faith. It is the moment when prayer no longer asks for anything, it simply becomes love.
That is what true love is— when worldly thoughts and material desires begin to fade away, and the soul melts into the divine presence.
when such surrender happens, the heart no longer wishes just to see him— it longs to feel him too. And every time you feel that divine connection, your love deepens, your devotion grows stronger. Because God loves simplicity. He doesn't seek grand gestures, he seeks pure hearts—those who love without expectations, those who worship without asking.
A true devotee may never have seen the beloved, yet still offers their whole life with faith.
That is love— the kind that trusts, that whispers,'' My Lord will take care of me.''
We often hide our pain from people, but not from him. Because deep down, we know—he is the only one who truly understand us, the only one who is eternally our own.
When a devotee looks around, they see their beloved everywhere. Every corner whispers his presence— just like a lover feels their beloved in every breath.
Just as a lover buys all the things his beloved loves in the same way, a devotee too prepares garlands, sweets and offerings for the divine— not out of duty, but out of love. The flowers they offer, the prayers they chant— they are not rituals they are emotions.
Just as a lover spends hours speaking to their beloved, a devotee too spends hours in conversation with the lord sharing with him everything that they cannot share with anyone else.
A devotee never asks for anything separate for themselves. Their only wish is to see their Lord happy, and they pray that '' May my love reach you, my Lord.''
There is, in truth no difference between the love of true lover and that of a true devotee. Both give without expecting.
As devotion deepens, the distance between the devotee and the divine begins to dissolve. The devotee may not see the God with their eyes but they feel him— so deeply that his presence feels their soul.
And remember—God is never indifferent to such love. He too cares deeply for his true devotees. In his eyes, there is tenderness; he cannot bear to see their tears. That's why even if the world forgets them, the divine never does. Because love like this is not human—it is eternal.🌟
Whenever a devotee awakens such a deep love for the divine, that even if a hymn is being sung far away, or glimpse of the Lord's precession is taking place somewhere, all those feelings rise within the devotee's heart—flowing out as tears in the eyes and a gentle smile upon the lips.
This happens because love is not something you give or take. Love is like a seed—once it is planted in the soil of your heart, it slowly grows, nurtured by faith, watered by surrender and warmed by the light of the divine.
One day that tiny seed becomes a sacred tree—strong enough to offer its fragrance to the world. That is what love truly is— a living prayer, rooted in the heart of a devotee.
To understand love is not easy. It asks for patience, surrender and purity of heart. All we can do is pray— that our love remains pure enough to reach our Divine beloved Lord.
